Sat down on this bench the other morning and saw this reminder.

“Just Live”.

Two little words but what a huge message.

Wake up, look up and give God thanks is our first order of business. Without His breath in our lungs we wouldn’t have opened our eyes today. He did not have to allow us another day to live, but He did. Which means there is a purpose.

So, what do we do with today? What is His will for our lives?

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭ESV‬‬

~ Rejoice always (Be grateful)

~ Pray without ceasing (Consistent conversation with Him)

~ Give him thanks in all things. Trials will come but he makes all things beautiful in His time.

This is the will of God for us!

Sometimes we are so perplexed in trying to figure out what the will of God is for our lives.

We complicate and overthink things to the point where we lose joy.

This little messsge says it all. Just live each day communicating with Jesus, thanking him for all things and rejoice in the kindnesses he gives to us. Like a child. Not childish, but childlike.

Trusting. Hopeful. Thankful.

He will guide us the rest of the way.

Walk each day out holding His hand, expecting his presence and provisions.
