“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

Reap ~ To receive something as a consequence of previous actions.

This is a law that is already built into everything and everyone on earth. God set it into motion. He tells us to “ Now Choose”.

In fact he didn’t just say choose, but, said to “choose life”, guiding us to the paths of peace.

This does not mean that all things in our lives will be perfect and without trials, but that it will in the end, lead to peace…forever.

~ Choosing life means choosing obedience to God. Bringing life, peace, hope, and blessing to our lives. Again, it doesn’t mean that “life” will be without challenges or pain but it does mean that He will carry us through each obstacle to greater strength.

There are times that we will grow weary. Weary of rejections. Weary of watching injustice and suffering. Weary of waiting. But, we are told to not grow weary in heart.

Jesus said ~

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬ ‭ESV‬‬

He strengthens us. Every. Single. Time.

Certainly He knows what’s going on around our lives.

Yet it could feel like we’re alone in it all, but we’re not. There is a time for everything, and during the dry and seemingly alone seasons, we need to cling even tighter to his hand. How? Through connection. To his Word!

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭119‬:‭105‬ ‭ESV‬‬

So I encourage you to keep moving forward and upward toward the peace and joy that awaits us. He is with us
