As I write this…our first grandchild will be born! We’re waiting for the call now to come and meet her. It’s a surreal and exciting moment for our family. My son Nick (uncle Nick) and my husband (pop pop) just took a ride to pick up “cigars”. It’s a traditional thing for men, new fathers, to hand out cigars to celebrate!
It was a long night for Monika, but she did great! God watched over them and brought forth a beautiful daughter. Mikaela Vilardo. 8.9 lbs, 21.2 inches. Born May, 8, 2024 at 8:34 pm.
She is perfect.
