The Beauty of God is Around us

Hi! Thank you for stopping by and taking a few moments to read my Journal. I do pray that hearts who have visited this past year have been uplifted trough my posts. I am very grateful for all of you.

This is Louie.  He’s not with us any longer. His time here on earth came to an end, but I really do believe this little guy was heaven sent. He brought us 16 years of pure joy and constant love. He was a fun-loving and comforting companion, a true example of unconditional friendship.

If you are a pet owner, then you have experienced the laughter and joy one receives from these beautiful creatures.  I believe they are God-given friends who become part of our earthly journey to brighten our days and encourage us to keep going. I know that if Lou wasn’t with me over the years, things would have been very different. With him in our home, every morning became a joyful experience. He provided me with the boost of energy I desperately needed, especially when I was a young mother with two boys to run around with!  Its  amazing how much unconditional acceptance we get from our little family friends.

God’s love, beauty, and power can be clearly seen in all of creation. How can we not be in awe when we see the natural world around us? And not only see, but also hear, taste, touch, and smell it! I read this scripture the other day! It struck me and answered a few questions that I had….”God has placed eternity in our heart”.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.”

Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:11‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Think about it, we don’t even have to leave our homes to see the beautiful things God has made. We can enjoy them through the work of those who travel around the world and capture it for us. Now that’s a job I would love!

Take horses, for example. These guys are majestic! They are beautiful and powerful, yet sweet and gentle. They also bring joy to children with disabilities. Talk about a boost to the soul! Can you imagine the heart of this child while sitting on this beautiful animal?

This world can be ugly, and by “world” I mean people’s hearts. It can be full of hatred, bitterness, unforgiveness, rebellion, unkindness and the like, but if we take time to look, we’ll see God’s beauty all around us. And, God promises in His Word that a time IS coming when righteousness will reign and ALL things will be made perfect and new!

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.”

Revelation‬ ‭21:1‬ ‭ESV‬‬

How amazing it is that in addition to all the beauty in this world, we have much more to look forward to in eternity! I pray we stay encouraged and strong in these trying times and allow our hearts to hear what our Creator is saying to us, through His Word, through nature, and through others.

  1. I am among those who have learned to STOP and smell the roses. I marvel at God’s creation every day. I call Him, the Artist or Artists! No wonder David stood in awe when he said, “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork!” -Psalm 19:1. Thanks, Jackie, for this reminder. In the midst of all the chaos, there is much more of God’s beauty around us. We just need to learn to stop, look, and appreciate.

This is so true my friend, we need to focus on more important things in our life, like the people around us! They are the true treasures we should be invested in at all times! Everything will fade away, (material things) but what is important is how we treated the least of these, God’s most beautiful creation, people! Love you Jackie ❤

Hi Jackie! Your blogs are an encouragement to those who read it. I am blessed by them as well. God has created all of us to worship Him. He has created all thing that we may see His amazing work. The skies, the earth, humans, animals, and everything around us. I pray He gives everyone eyes to see, ears to listen and clean hearts to receive all He has for us; In Jesus’ mighty matchless Name. Love you my dear sister! ❣️

    Thank you for sharing.
Sometimes life can be overwhelming but being reminded of these will help us to shift our focus from our circumstances and trust God even in the little things.

Beautifully said! Louie looked like the most adorable dog to have ❤️! I love seeing his cute face, etc. God’s creation were all good he said in the beginning when he made it/us. Yes, sin is the ugliest most hateful thing on this planet that tore it/us apart. Thank you for this reminder and for always bringing some insight to all of us.
