“Fear is no match for His love.”

I recently heard the above phrase in a song and it just jumped out and brought me so much peace. It also brought a big smile to my face and lifted my heart.  It was like taking a deep breath and then letting it go!

I am absolutely stunned watching people who have fully kicked fear to the side, like surfers and climbers. Oh my goodness, I watched a documentary titled “The Dawn Wall” over at my son’s house last year. It was just mind-blowing watching other “humans” exercising such powerful resolve. What is wrong with me? I get nervous just being around a crowd! LOL

Do we even consider the things we allow ourselves to “think/fear” about sometimes?! Obviously, life is uncertain every single moment of each day.  We have no idea what will happen in the moments before us.  I believe we can all agree that life has certainly proven this fact.

Our society looks as though it is coming undone right before us. But if we look closely, we’ll realize that it’s actually our relationships (in our homes, government, workplaces, schools, churches etc.) that are being broken. It’s not the buildings where we congregate that are falling apart, it’s our love and respect toward one another that is suffering. I believe it’s because we look to each other for the answers that only God can provide. We are all unique to Him and He will direct each one of us differently. It’s not done as a group, but individually.

God loves us and tells us not to fear 365 times in His Word. One for everyday of the year!🙂 Like the climbers on the wall, we just need to stay focused on Him and fear will dissolve.

“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Isaiah 26:3 says that He will keep me in perfect peace as my mind is stayed on Him. I love this promise!

Our Father has given us rules and regulations for living this life to the fullest, but we mess up all the time because we are not able to keep the “law.” He knows this. Which is why we need to trust Him by trusting in His Son, Jesus! Obeying laws and policies is a concept in all of life. We need to obey our bosses, teachers, coaches, parents, etc. What makes us think we will avoid having issues when we disobey our Creator? We all understand this concept, but still CHOOSE to disobey. I can attest to one thing. When I’m not obeying His direction, I feel the chaos in my spirit immediately. It’s like a child who knows they are wrong and feels the fear and guilt. It’s horrible. But God loves it when we turn and repent and get back on the right path with Him. He’s full of grace and mercy! When you are in His Will, there is peace and fear MUST flee!

His Commandments reveal His love/heart for all of us! It’s the same as giving your children loving advice for a healthy life and directions to a more peaceable life. How would the world look if we all at least tried our very best to live according to His instructions?

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:3  ‭ESV‬‬

Thanks for taking some time out to read this post. I’m really grateful for all of you. I pray you realize that “fear is no match for His love” and that you will allow Him to show you His great plan for your life as well.
