Protect your Joy!

Hello Everyone! Happy Summer🍉🌻⛱️

My Michael making us pizza.

I named this post “Protect your Joy” because it’s always at risk of being robbed from us. We have to be proactive in the moments of the day to protect it as we all know struggles, frustrations, disappointments, etc. can happen at times….and they usually kick in when joyful moments are present, for me.

These last few months have been a mix of joys and perplexities, ups and downs, hopes fulfilled and hopes deferred as well, but I’m grateful for all God does for me and those I love and care about. Nothing that happens is in vain, when our hope is in God, alone. We know He is working things out and all will be okay.

So, I will continue to “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”

My Daughter in law Monika, and my bestest, Maria

Today, I’m in North Carolina watching my son Nick and his girlfriend Ella’s dogs, Jackson and Darby 💛

Jackson, the chocolate lab, is our grand pup!  He’s truly the sweetest lab you’ll ever meet.  He has a great personality, like his fur-dad!👇

It’s a nice Sunday morning in North Carolina, I’m in Starbucks parking lot enjoying a decaf iced americano. I just left the dogs after spending the morning with them. I’ll be heading back home tomorrow.

It was a great week with my family and my buddy Maria!

Our Corgi all ready for the boat ride!

So grateful for all of my family! Praying for peace, joy, wisdom and favor over each of them.

Wishing all of you a wonderful summer ahead.

Thank you for taking a moment out of your day to read this post!

Blessings 🌷
