Hello friends!
Revival, according to Webster’s Dictionary, is a renewed attention to or interest in something.
Who does NOT need this?! It’s so easy for life to drain our spiritual fervor. In fact, life’s daily challenges often drain us of joy, peace, and even hope at times. We all need refreshing.
So, why wouldn’t God our Father send us great moves of renewal? Sometimes, like now in today’s climate for our young adults, revival is desperately needed. They need hope! Not just them but all of us need renewed hope and joy in these dark climates.
This generation is facing difficult challenges in the world. Evil is saturating their minds and dreams. Even if you are not a believer, you must see the darkness that is settling over this nation and the entire world right now. How much must take place before an awakening comes into our hearts?
Thank God He doesn’t leave us to continue in our foolishness! He knocks louder on our hearts, but we must choose. Those who will not bend their knee to the only God, Jesus Christ, will continue to suffer under the tyranny of the enemy, the god of this world. Look what the Word says about why this is happening…
“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”
2 Corinthians 4:4 NIV
Our God is a good God! Only those who trust in Him fully understand and see this truth. Plain and simple, unbelievers cannot see, hear, or understand the things of God
“The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.”
1 Corinthians 2:14 NIV
I pray that this current awaking at Universities never stops until Christ’s return. I pray that not one more of our children will be taken by depression, suicide, addiction, and confusion about their identity! I pray that every one of them and we will come to fully understand our true identity is in Christ alone!
“He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.”
John 1:10-13 NIV
He created us for Himself to have relationships. He came to rescue us from an eternity separated from Him. It is His plan, not ours to try to change it or fit our own selfish desires.
May the peace of Jesus rest in our hearts and minds as we obey Him.
God bless you.
Beautifully said! May God continue to move among our young people and throughout the world. He is our only hope ❤
