Happy Spring🌷

This past weekend was an adventure for my friend Maria and I. (Thanks Maria for taking the trip with me!!!)🌷

We traveled to North Carolina, by train, for my Daughter In-law’s baby shower. At some point we began talking to our neighbors, (in the seats nearby)

As well as April, and her mom, Mary.

As you can see, April had a broken toe so we call her “April the toe” for light laughs. It’s so nice to talk with people we’ve never met before. It amazes me how sweet and kind people are, yet there are so many times we don’t get to know this, because we’re all in such a hurry. We don’t get the chance to stop and begin a conversation.

Well, a nine hour train ride can change that…if we are willing to reach out and begin a friendly conversation. I’m so glad we did just that and got to know some very nice individuals.

Kindness is something the world is desperate for and God has called us to be salt and light.

”In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.“
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“So that they may see”…If we don’t take the steps to do the good works (kindness) how will they give God the glory (thanks and praise). Good thoughts and intentions alone don’t bring God glory, action does. (Help us Father to bring you joy with our actions)

The phrase “give glory to God” means to honor or praise Him for who He is (Joshua 7:19). We are called to give God glory in all things.

”Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.“

Congratulations to my beautiful son and daughter in law. Baby V will soon be here and my husband and I are so thankful to God for all He has done, is doing and will do in our family.
