Hello and happy winter❄️
I’m not sure where you are reading this from, but here in NJ, it’s been bitterly cold. What’s going on right? Snow in Florida? Five inches?!
Things are upside down in this world and lately, I’ve felt pulled into the swirl of it all. I’m ready to settle somewhere coastal, warm and quiet!

We’re headed back down to NC tomorrow for the weekend to celebrate my son and my husband’s Birthdays.
We’ll then head over to this beach area in NC to look into an area where we may possibly live out our retirement. It’s bittersweet. My husband and I have spent our whole lives here in Bayonne and have so many memories to leave behind, but we are ready for the change. We’ve been waiting for the right time and the right place.

I’ve seen this scripture a couple times this week. It’s been a comfort and an encouragement to me and I truly believe God is beginning to move us into the next chapter of our lives.

We’ve been through many seasons of trials and joys throughout our lives and God has never let us down. He’s always been there guiding and encouraging us to keep going and I know He will lead us to the right place. It’s been difficult at times, but He is always working things out for our good.
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.”
Psalm 37:4-5 ESV
I hope that if you too are waiting. Waiting in that hallway for the next door to open, you will find encouragement in knowing that He always answers us according to what is best for us. Stay connected to him through prayer and trust His timing.
