Chapters and Seasons

Our granddaughter’s birth…celebration 😃

Happy June☀️. It’s been a beautiful month so far with sunny days, warm breezes and deep blue skies. (Sounds like a weather report) 😊. Oh yeah…and Ice cream!

Our family has had many changes this past year, good ones! But, sometimes we just move from one day to the next not even realizing that a month, or even a year, has passed by! Not sure about you, but sometimes I just run into the next day without blinking or thinking at times! I have to purposely think about the things and people around me and take time to be grateful. Life just has a way of rushing us into one thing after another and distracts us from what’s important.

Grateful; appreciative of benefits received!

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits,”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭103‬:‭2‬ ‭ESV‬‬

My husband is retiring…and this Friday is his last day 💕 then we leave for a road trip to North Carolina to see our beautiful granddaughter, Mikaela. These are beautiful gifts, benefits from God.

Future retirement plan 😎

I can tell you that there have been many trials and storms throughout our lives but God has been faithful and kind to bring us to this point. When there are trials and cloudy seasons in your life, you can bet He is working things out for your good.

Always working…in us

Our God is so very wise, and sees way into the future. When we pray, if we keep this thought, it will help as we wait for the answers, knowing that quality usually takes more time. I’m grateful for everything God did not say “yes”to in my life. He had a better plan for me…and still does.

“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

I pray you too can put your full trust in Him to guide you through your life. To allow him to teach you all things through spending time with Him each day reading His Word. He will not fail you, but will open your heart and mind to understand. Here’s a quick verse when Jesus spoke to the Deciples after he rose.

When we read His word, the Holy Spirt opens our mind to understand these spiritual truths.

“Then he said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”

Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24‬:‭44‬-‭45‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Thank you for stopping by to read yet another testimony of His goodness in my life.

Love and peace 🕊️
