Sitting here with my cat, well…one of them, and so grateful for the light shining into my apartment. Today started out gray and gloomy. I almost lost motivation to walk in the park this morning but so glad I did. It’s amazing how quickly we can lose our ground when we miss a day of exercise, of some sort, doesn’t matter. Since the weather is getting warmer I love to be outside. Just not under the “gray and gloomy” skies! Nope! It only dredges up old “depression emotions”.

My heart breaks for those who are sad and cannot find peace or a way to be heard …but say they don’t need God.
Oh, if only they would turn to Jesus for help. He does the deep work in our hearts that is needed for healing. I was praying earlier and couldn’t stop thinking about how, since I was a kid, God has never left me. How do I know this? Experience after experience after experience! Good days, sad days, fearful days, uncertainties, joys, losses…year after year, He’s always been there!

I’m learning that when He is working…many times, He is super quiet. You don’t realize things are changing and prayers are being answered….as it’s happening! You only know it afterwards. Time and time again He is there for us, helping, guiding and comforting us as our faith is growing.
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:38-39 ESV
I’m at park now. Just left gym because they sell those “Quest Protein Bars” I like. So, I decided to stay and do a quick walk. Now, I’m sitting in my car listening to a bird singing his little heart out! He must have 100 different songs!😅. So cute!

Which brings me back to the title. The Blue and White, sky. I would take a blue and white…over a gray any day!
Thank you Lord for sending the Sun back out today. I pray for anyone who is having a gray day, today. That they would find the strength to look up and seek You! Amen.
“I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”
Psalm 121:1-2 ESV

Have a great week ahead. Thanks for stopping by.
