The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age ~
“As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
Matthew 24:3-14 ESV
I, and millions of others from this generation and generations past, have absolutely no doubt that God’s Word is true. We can testify to its trustworthiness!
Unless you yourself read the Word of God, humbly, and ask Him to reveal His truth, the signs of the times will seem like foolishness to you.

CHRIST, THE WISDOM AND POWER OF GOD ~
“For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.” Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe.
1 Corinthians 1:18-21 ESV
Jesus has shown us the way to Eternal Life and how to escape eternal separation from Him. He has also shown us how to discern the times so that we may live a life that will honor him. We, then, are responsible for the choice to believe or not believe Him and His word.
Here are just some of the words from our kind, merciful, gracious, and forgiving God, Jesus ~
““Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.”
John 14:1-3 ESV
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.””
John 14:6-7 ESV
”Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, (LOOK UP) because your redemption is drawing near.””
Luke 21:28 ESV
What are some of the things that will be happening as we live in the end times? Well, Jesus mentioned that one of them would be lawlessness and how it would cause people’s hearts to grow cold.
“And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.”
Matthew 24:12
Who can’t see the cruel things taking place today on a daily basis in news reports and in our everyday life? We all shake our heads in disbelief at the blatant disregard for life, privacy, and respect. Even within families who disagree with each other on current issues, we see such coldness that sometimes affects their relationship. These are all schemes of the lawlessness one!
“And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.”
2 Thessalonians 2:8 ESV
I pray that everyone who reads these words today will look up and call upon the Name of Jesus, for there is salvation in no other name.
I love you all.

Yes it seems so very close. Many are so distracted and not taking serious His warnings from His own words. 🙏🏻💛

Hi Jackie,
I recently saw this movie called, ‘Don’t Look Up.” about a giant comet (rock) heading towards earth. This rock meant the destruction of humankind. We believers are called to do the opposite, to ‘Look Up!” because our redemption is near! We believe in the ‘Rock’ of our salvation, and this causes us to rejoice!!!! Thank you for reminding us of the unbelievable love Christ has for us. Love you!
Here’s a clip of that crazy movie;
