Here is a challenge.  When you wake up each day, hold your breath until it’s uncomfortable. Then breathe again and thank God because He is the one who gives you your breath each day.  He gives us life. It’s His to give and His to take away.

“Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you!  As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

1 Corinthians 2:14

According to the verse above, only those who have come to faith in Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9) can understand the things of God and what He has declared. 

“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in the days of old earned a good reputation. By faith, we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.”

Hebrews‬ ‭11:1-3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I pray you are encouraged to know how special you are to God.  He breathed life into you and continues to hold you and carry you through. 

He sent His Son to rescue us and bring us back home to Him. We have an incredible future in Him. So, hold onto His Hand.  Trust Him to carry you each day and lead you in His will for your life. Just as we take one breath at a time, He leads us one step at a time.
